Ilexum Consulting

Ilexum Consulting is a consulting firm providing consulting services focusing the forestry, forest industry, bio-energy and environmental sectors.

Ilexum Consulting is a small company with a large net of international contacts encompassing public organisations, private companies, research and education institutions, NGOs and individual experts. This gives us the flexibility of a small company but with possibilities to provide the specific expertise requested by our customers. The manager of Ilexum Consulting has – besides some years with the Swedish Forestry Research Institute – 30 years of experience from the consulting business worldwide, as expert or in leading management positions, in Jaakko Pöyry Engineering AB, Interforest AB and Jaakko Pöyry Consulting AB, Sweden.

We are equally familiar with the private sector as with the public and institutional, including international financing institutions and development agencies, such as the World Bank, IFC, UN-organisations, regional development banks like EBRD, ADB and IaDB, EU development programmes and bilateral agencies.

Our portfolio of services is wide and ranges from small advisory assignments, project identification, business development, operations improvement and training to design and management of investment projects and large, complex, national development programmes.
